Meeting Minutes Feb 10

Dear All,
We had our Feb month meeting @ Gandhi Mandapam by 10.00 AM.

Projects undertaken for this month:
1. School uniform to a rural school @ Tiruvarur : 50 students
This school is also a govt school, where students don't have another pair of dress to wear.
This project is referred by Venkatesan.
Estimation details would be sent by Venkatesan.
Date of Execution: 22-02-2008

2. Visiting a Government Children Hospital @ Chennai
We didn't decide yet in which way we would be helping them. We are planning to visit the hospital next week end, based on their needs we could decide on what we could do for them.
This project is referred by Saravanakumar.

Activities:
--> School projects would be executed along with mind-blowing play activities like drawing competition, sports competition, story writing etc.
--> There is a plan to conduct a school/district level drawing/poetry writing/story writing competitions for Government Higher secondary schools. The plan is to provide a free seat in "College of Fine Arts" for winner(s) based on their interest.
Your Valuable suggestions/thoughts are most welcome.
--> Since we are completing one year for ODAM, there is a plan to conduct an Election (online) to elect the correct representatives for all the 8 posts. Periodic change in posts would lead to many innovative ideas and different way of approaching/achieving things. This is a positive way to drive our ODAM trust in a healthy way. A detailed mail will be sent by Mr.Venkatesan.
--> Visiting card would be printed in the name of our trust – This would be taken care by me (Panju)
--> ODAM blog spot would be updated with MOM followed by corresponding completed activities – This would be taken care by Sarala

We need active participation from each one of you.

Meeting Minutes Nov 24

Dear Odam Members,
We had our NOV month meeting today @ Gandhi Mandapam by 10.30 AM.

Projects undertaken for this month:
1. School uniform to a rural school @ Kumbakonam : 37 students
2. School uniform to a rural school @ Tiruvarur : 38 students
3. School bags and cheppals to a rural school @ Coimbatore : 55 students

These schools are govt schools, where students doesn't have another pair of dress to wear. Kumbakonam and Tiruvarur schools are referred by Venkatesan. Coimbatore school by Saravana. After analysis and other information provided we have decided to help them.

Rough estimation :
Uniform : 9000 -10000 [ approximately 1 pair costs Rs. 120] Bags : 1100 [each bag Rs.20] Cheppals: 1100 [each pair Rs.20]

Date of Execution:
Kumabakonam and Tiruvarur school by Dec 1st/ 2nd. Coimbatore : Yet to finalize.

Activities:
1. All the group heads need to collect the address detail of each member and send the same to Karthik. @ Karthik, make sure you are provided with the address details of all the members. 2. @ Saravana Letter pad and bill book printing.
The above activities needs to be completed before next month meet.

As communicated before,we have planned to form 3 different groups.
1. Field Work [ who can visit the place and execute the project]
2. Supporting members [ Buying things, gathering informations]
3. Only money contributors.
Let us know under which group you would like to be.

Down the line we are planning to take many projects, we need active participation.
Hope you can understand the necessity of forming a trust and working towards it.
